This bench is made from solid red oak. And, was made at the request of a Custom Made Buyer to provide seating at a country kitchen table. It was a surprise gift for a sister's family.It is 58" Wide on the short side and 98" Long on the long side. The design is such that it could be modified to fit most corner configurations. The seats are 16' Wide and the Backs are 18" high. The seat is 17" from the floor. From start to finish the project takes about 3 weeks. This one is unfinished as the client wanted to do that themselves. Finishing would add another week in construction. This is the message I received after the bench was delivered. " The bench is amazing!! You did a wonderful job!!! Thank you so much, and my sis loves it!!! She was soo happy and still is. Her husband is too!"

    I received the custom made chessboard on the date expected and it was in excellent condition. It was packed very professionally and was in perfect condition. The craftsmanship on the board was second to none and the finish was perfect. There was a slight separation on one side between two squares and the border but that can be fixed quickly with appropriate wood filler. I have looked online for a similar chessboard and it just does not exist for the price I paid for this one. I highly recommend Maury's Moldings for any woodworking project and will use him again if I have a project. Thanks again Custom Made and thanks to Maury.

    Maury's Mouldings is a very professional outfit. I was happy with his finish but the edge of the chess board playing surface was covered by the side moulding so I was a little disappointed. I should have been more specific and told him not to cover any of the playing surface with the side moulding but I never thought that would be an issue. I would like to use him again to build another chess board the same size only with a better border that does not infringe on the playing squares. I was very nice when I called to check on the progress and he was very professional and personable. Would he accept another job for me? He is an excellent wood worker.
