Elm Burl "Nixie" Tube Clock

This ultra contemporary nixie tube clock design combines the dramatic figuring and natural features of elm burl with a complimentary aluminum "sculpture" which highlights the nixie tubes. Note: Nixie tubes are 1950's technology used at the time for displaying numeric data in industrial and scientific instrumentation. This modern incantation uses them for displaying hr./min./sec. and mo./day/yr. The clock also comes with a GPS receiver that helps keep perfect time.
