Gunstock Walnut Mantle
This piece was created out of gunstock walnut. The ledge is high-figured solid black walnut. Both of the corbels and the sconce in the middle are book-matched with feather crotch black walnut so that each piece looks identical to the other. All of the moldings are original designs of Jansson Woodworks. It measures 84 inches in length. We've put these mantles in mountain homes as well as traditional homes. The design is quite versatile. We've also made this mantle out of wormy chestnut, mahogany, heart pine, sapele and pommele.
