Re-Claimed Re-Purposed Heart Pine Entertainment Center
A client of mine asked me to make this entertainment center out of lumber he'd reclaimed from his family's old southern plantation. He wanted a way to preserve his family's heritage with something that could be passed from generation to generation. The lumber he brought me was original growth, quarter-sawn heart pine. All of the moldings are custom designed and profiled one of a kind. The finish was created by applying seven coats of lacquer and hand rubbing between each coat.
