Heart Pine Bed
Original growth, quarter-sawn, curly perfection heart pine pulled from a flooring company in Scotland Neck, NC (Scotland Neck Heart Pine Co). It took two years to accumulate the lumber for this bed and over 300+ hours of labor to build it. Light had to hit the lumber at just the right angle to assure that the highlights in the figure were exposed at all times. Had to pre-finish each piece and then flip-flop them to achieve the desired effect before laminating the wood together. Value - $21,000
