I colored the flowers for this leather headband with thin, careful layers of paint until they were the shade I liked - layering prevents the leather from cracking. I cut and stitched the branching vine-like shapes from brown leather and stitched the flowers and leaves to the branches. There's elastic at the very back of the headband to ensure a proper fit. The centers of the flowers are painted wood beads with a tiny glass seed bead. I can make different shapes, sizes, and colors of flowers and leaves for a custom leather headband.
Bunnilope
We make lovely curiosities of all sorts, using a variety of materials. By day, Josh is currently a senior web developer, while Rachel takes care of our three special needs young children. During free moments, you can find us working with cardboard, metal, wood, wool, silk, polymer clay, paint, and paper.
This experience was amazing from the start to the finish. Any projects I have in the future I will be choosing Bunnilope again.
They went above and beyond what I had for expectation I couldn't be happier. They were super easy to work with. And I thinking of other projects already????
