THE PIECE: curly redwood tabletop that is on a twisted juniper base. The tabletop has metal copper powder inlayed into it. The top is removable, and is attached to the base with a sheet of metal to support it. We finished this table by oiling it with a clear Seal-a-cell finish
THE WOOD: For our tables we 90% of the time use twisted juniper and curly redwood. We love working with the redwood and juniper due to the diverse character of the pieces. The juniper has such a large diversity of shape and sizes that allows us to make all sorts of different types of tables. We will occasionally use burl pine for tables as well.
THE PROCESS:- All completed tables are pressure washed to remove the bark, sandblasted to clean out the crevices and hard to reach areas, power sanded to remove the aged and scratched surface, hand sanded for a smooth artistic finish, 4 coats of a hand rubbed oil finish and then a finishing/reconditioning oil applied before shipping. Our goal is to bring out the beauty in the pedestals and to keep all coloring, shape and contours in their natural state.
GENERAL INFO:- All of our pieces are 100% handcrafted, custom made with great attention to detail.
RETURNS: We accept all returns within 7 days of your purchase, the item MUST be in the exact condition as when you purchased it. We will refund the purchase price. Shipping, handles and packing fees are not refunded. Return shipping is paid by the buyer.
SHIPPING Included - This piece will ship Cross Country Freight Solutions. The pedestal will be professionally packed and crated to insure safe delivery. ATTN: If you are shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada or anywhere out of the US please contact us for shipping charges.

Creating Handcrafted Juniper Wood Furniture
Bringing to you and your family, one of a kind, wood furniture
Who are we?
Rocky Mountain Twist specializes in juniper log furniture bringing you uniqueness and elegance at the same time.
We are a family owned and operated home-based business located in Maybell, Colorado, where juniper grows in abundance, making our ideas limitless and every piece of furniture we craft unique.
We collect all of the wood ourselves. In our
adventures we have discovered that the more rugged & harsh the country the more unique the pieces of wood become. All of our wood is pressure washed, hand sanded and has a hand rubbed oil finish. There is no color added; all colors of the wood are 100% natural. We pay special attention to every detail.
Everything is one of a kind. A lot of blood, sweat and sometimes a few tears goes into every piece.
The products that we create are; tables, candle holders, table & floor lamps, taxidermy pedestals and art sculpture display stands. All of our products can be enhanced with stone inlay.

For Australian Jarrah Wood Bar, Bistro, Pub Table With Twisted Juniper Log Pedestal And Stone InlayI wish I could give Candy & Tim ten stars. This is a stunningly beautiful table they made for us. Our top is actually a redwood slab, with malachite inlays. The twisted juniper base is simply other-wordly. I don't think I can attach pictures to the review; I wish I could. Hopefully, they will post some pictures on their page. You cannot go wrong doing business with Tim & Candy. From start to finish, they are a wonderful combination of artistic sensibility, fine craftsmanship, professional communications, and friendliness. They also packaged and shipped our half-ton+ table better than any thing I have ever seen in my life. Although I have never met them in person, I hope I get to some day. They are welcome in our home any time to visit the gorgeous work they did for us. We are ecstatic.
