This is a dining table we built that converts to a poker table by simply removing the top. The table is built using solid maple lumber. The table top is 1" thick and is 60" diameter. The card table apron is constructed with 8/4 lumber, and the card playing area is covered with black felt. To achieve a near perfect circle the radius was cut using a trammel jig and router with a straight cutting bit. The total height of the table is 31". The pedestal was purchased from Osborne Wood Products, to save on cost. The table was distressed, then finished with a traditional cherry stain and clear coated with multiple coats of wipe on polyurethane. If you would like to use a different type of lumber or finish please let us know and we can calculate the added cost. Please inquire about shipping cost. Rates are typically calculated at $0.4 - $0.5 per mile. Shipping will be completed through Uship, Craters & Freighters, or Fedex. Uship is normally the cheapest option and white glove service is often included. Fedex is reserved for smaller shipments that can fit in a box. If you need your project by a specific date please let us know. We are a small company and do our very best to meet time tables. Our main goal with every project is quality. We use construction techniques and materials, that should allow your custom furniture to last many years to come, with the hope it will be passed on to future generations.

For Clara's sewing machine cabinetI am absolutely satisfied with my two sewing cabinets. They are truly works of art. The process worked so smoothly. I designed what I wanted and Buchanan Family Arts built the design to specifications. We communicated continually along the way. I received expert advice along the way on how to make the design more functional. It was a very complex project with many features that were intricate. It took longer than originally expected, however; I was fine with that because I rather have the product correctly made. I enjoyed the process and would recommend Buchanan Family Arts to other buyers.

For Curio CabinetMatthew made a curio cabinet and four barstools and all are expertly made and are works of art. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are first rate. Both of the projects turned out exactly as I envisioned and will be legacy pieces of furniture that I can leave to my children. They really are just stunning. The only downside was the project took a good bit longer than anticipated but once he realized that, he was very forthright that it was going to be longer than initially discussed. I will work with Matthew again in the future. It's clear that he takes his work seriously and very much wants to deliver products that please the customer. I'm thrilled with my furniture and very happy to have found Matthew.
