Night Flight Quilt
I'm making a series of quilts depicting the Earth from above as seen from a plane. This quilt is of the idea of flight in general, but I can make a quilt inspired by the city you live in, or a photo you've taken from a plane. This quilt is a 5x5' wall hanging. I will work with you to find the right size and function for your quilt; wall hanging, throw, or bedding. It is hand quilted in pale blue thread with horizontal lines to represent latitude.

I am an artist, trained at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I inherited a family tradition of quilt making from my maternal grandmother.
I specialize in using found fabrics, and transform them into a quilt rich with memories. Your family heirloom textiles can be incorporated with my fabric collection to create a one of a kind work of art for your home, office, or creative space. I use a sashiko inspired hand quilting technique that employs thicker thread for a highly visible quilted line.
