Hand Quilted Throw
I am an artist, focused on making quilts. It would be my pleasure to make a quilt for you. The quilts featured here are about 5x5'. The cost of an average quilt is $2,500, but that can change depending on size and complexity. I work with vintage and new fabrics. I dye fabric myself with synthetic or natural dyes. I use a sashiko inspired hand quilting technique that employs thicker thread for a highly visible quilted line. I often use 'improvisational piecing,' and am very inspired by traditional African American quilts.

I am an artist, trained at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I inherited a family tradition of quilt making from my maternal grandmother.
I specialize in using found fabrics, and transform them into a quilt rich with memories. Your family heirloom textiles can be incorporated with my fabric collection to create a one of a kind work of art for your home, office, or creative space.
