My sculptures are influenced by nature, ancient symbols and mystical icons.
My artistic vision is to create both realistic and abstract sculptures in metal, concrete and natural elements. I use traditional art skills of design, positive/negative space and depth as well as my skills in welding technologies and blacksmithing. I chose to produce most artworks in steel due to the strength, ease of manipulation and appearance. I infuse the work with stained concrete and natural elements for additional color, textures and originality.
In my sculptures, I am compelled to try and capture the artistic styles and mysteries of native and ancient cultures using their symbolisms and icons in my work. These include the influences of nature, wildlife, their spiritualism, the heavens and the basic three elements; Earth, Wind and Fire.
My interest in modern art and new technologies drives me to imagine a line of art influenced by the mythology and spiritualism of the past. It is in this area that I yearn to turn my imagination loose for an unbridled journey.
