This WWII ammunitions cart has been repurposed and can function in a variety of settings (kitchen island, outdoor patio cart, rolling bar, etc.). The cart was salvaged from the Lake City Army Ammunitions Plant in Independence MO. We saved the patina of the original cart and added sustainably harvested maple slat shelves and a 2 1/2" thick elm butcher block top creating a unique, one of a kind showpiece. 48"x24"x36"

Master craftsman, Dan Arterburn, applies over 30 years of wood-working experience and a passion for promoting sustainable living to create custom-made furniture. Each piece of art represents Dan’s dedication to sustainability. First, while Dan’s passion is wood-working, he refuses to jeopardize a living tree for a piece of furniture. Instead of cutting down a tree, Dan uses lumber that is salvaged, reclaimed, or sustainably harvested. To add character, texture, and history to his pieces, Dan also uses repurposed vintage items made in USA. Second, Dan crafts each piece to last multiple lifetimes. With details such as box joints and wooden drawer guides, these classic pieces are likely to become your most functional heirloom. Dan welcomes you to become a part of the process to design your next timeless piece of furniture. Please contact Dan, or any of our staff, so together we can turn your design ideas into your newest piece of personalized furniture.
