I came to her with a vague idea about a quilt I wanted to make as an anniversary present, and she worked with me to turn that idea into a beautiful design incorporating all of the things I wanted and even things I didn't know I wanted! Her vision for the quilt was wonderful and appreciated; without her expertise there is no way it could have come together as such a unique and amazing treasure. It will be a family heirloom and we can't wait to describe its meaning to future generations! Apart from the quilt itself, Amanda is incredibly easy to work with. She communicates clearly and quickly is timely, and is wonderful at working with you to guide you to the perfect quilt (i.e., see above). I'm sure she could have been frustrated by the long process of whittling down my broad ideas into a focused concept, but if she was, she never showed it!
