Pillowcases Using Commercial Fabrics
I started making pillowcases for a summer of weddings, creating each set for the couple to give nod to the their style and taste. I would think about the couple while choosing the fabrics, cutting and sewing, and infuse love and dreams into the pillowcases. I also made some for a child's birthday gift, one each for his mom & dad's house, with matching edging to keep it cohesive. This is when I was first asked if I would make them for others to purchase. I have made most of the pillowcases from cottons, as they are then easy to care for. Pillowcases are fun for me to make, as I step into a fabric store and get inspired by the seemingly endless combination of fabrics. Then I get to make something that will be used again and again to give rest and dreams to the user!

Home Sewn
Merging my lifelong passions of photography and sewing, I design fabrics from my photographs to then create fun and functional items for kitchen and bedroom.
Creating kitchen linens, pillowcases and zafu meditation pillows, I strive to bring art into homes in a utilitarian way. Users may be inspired to look closer and question the image while baking a pie or making the bed. I love to tell the stories of the photos I used.
