Folding Pocket Knives

While traveling through Tuscany in 2008, I had the privilege of learning knifemaking from a local artisan in a small town called Scarperia. This little town has been a center for knife and sword makers since the 1300′s and I left with some basic skills and a new passion. Now I have built on those initial lessons, developing a technique that is all my own, but based on generations of Old World knowledge. We strive to make the best knife you’ve ever owned, completely by hand, using exotic woods mated to the metal that’s best suited to your demands. Our name, Chiradyne, is derived from the Greek word for “hand” and the Greek word for “power”. We believe that you’ll be empowered to create great things with your hands, using the great tools we've created with our hands.
