This beautiful mid-century modern coffee table is made of solid Walnut. Each board is carefully hand selected for quality, beauty, and stability. Because no two boards are alike, each coffee table has a unique grain pattern. The boards are milled to 3/4" in thickness and then joined down the middle using classic wood joinery (that means there are no screws or nails used) for a seamless connection. The sides and top/bottom are joined together with a seamless miter that has been rounded over for a very elegant look. The grain pattern of the wood continues seamlessly from the top to the rounded side. The lower shelf provides a nice storage option or looks lovely left empty as well. The legs are made with solid bent steel that creates a nice contrast with the very warm tones of the wood. The legs are shipped separately from the coffee table top. They can easily be installed with the screws provided by placing the legs in the slots routed into the bottom of the coffee table and installing the screws. There are adjustable feet on each leg in order to ensure that the coffee table is stable regardless of the floor type or condition. The table is 20" wide by 42" long and sits at about 19" high. The opening in the middle of the table is 3.5" tall.
