Transforming wood into crazy custom pieces of art. Most of what I do is crazy. I'm not really into traditional woodworking techniques. However when I do them, I add my own twist on things. I hold two degrees, one in Graphic Design, and the other in Fine Woodworking. This being said, I know my way around a computer. I have done countless items from scratch in a vector program, and transferred them to a CNC program and cut them out there. I do have access to a CNC machine and will hopefully have one of my own soon.

I've been working in a shop for about 15 years now. My first tool was a scroll-saw and it has gradually gotten to where I have my own shop. Custom Grain is also run by a young lady named Jazmine Holcomb. She has fallen in love with woodworking and some of her projects will be on here also.

I have also fallen in love with pallet wood. I have a whole album dedicated to just re-purposed pallets. Yes, I said pallets for those doubters out there. I've created a coffee table, two end tables, and a computer desk, all out out pallets, and I am sure there are many more projects to come as I have now transferred the pallet world into the segmented turning world, and I am amazed.

Turned projects will be done, and designed, with what looks good. I don't usually have a set goal in mind until I'm sure it will work. Then, it will be shared on here and ready to sell. Nothing turned wise will be exactly the same, as you can imagine pallet wood never looks the same. I can create the same basic shape, however how it looks (pallet wise) will never be the same twice.

Normal woods will also be used, not as much, since the whole recycling pallets is actually pretty fun to do.

Any questions, feel free to message me! I do custom work, I will say no to nothing, and do my best at everything.
