Designed to compliment a client's living room furniture, the pieces as crafted of mahogany with wenge beading around the drawers and doors. The drawer secondary wood is maple. Note the attention to grain structure. The finish is seven hand-rubbed coats of a custom-blend finish of turpentine, linseed oil and varnish topped off with a coat of wax. The copper hardware was hand hammered by a goldsmith in Israel.

StudioRossi creates finely crafted furniture and cabinetry. Our influences range from the Greene brothers and the Arts and Craft movement to Asian architecture and the use of wood grain in James Krenov’s designs.
Principal and founder, Fred Rossi initially learned his craft watching his builder father and creating theatrical sets while the University of Pennsylvania. Some of his first jobs after college were building sets for the film industry. After receiving his MBA from the Wharton School and working in real estate finance, Fred was drawn back to woodworking.
