Corazon Racer-Back Corset

I made this corset in collaboration with another Custom Made artist John Shaffer, who made and tooled the beautiful anatomical leather heart. I wanted a piece that would be very adjustable and customizable for curvy girls, and this is what I arrived at. The racer back allows for two lacing panels which give it a really secure fit as well as eliminates the back-cleavage problem that often happens with corsets. It is boned with spiral steel for maximum comfort and mobility, this also gives me the freedom to do some really interesting shapes with contoured boning channels. The corset body is made out of cream silk dupioni, and lined with a striking red dot poly lining made from men's tailoring lining, which is much sturdier than regular lining (and softer too!). It is grommeted with large brass grommets at the shoulders then tied with wire ribbon bows, but these can be swapped out for other ribbons or chains. The front features the red leather anatomical heart pierced by a hand-beaded gold arrow in several varieties of glass beads. It is laced with gold cord tipped with brass agelets and laced through hand-set brass grommets.
