This is a lovely queen size bed out of cherry. The frame is made of clear cherry, and the panels are highly figured curly cherry that I laid up in veneers. The bed has no visible hardware, yet knocks down easily for shipping and moving. This has a hand rubbed tung-oil-based finish. It is a modified Shaker style, with an arched crest rail. The goal was to make a simple yet elegant bed, featuring a wood with lots of figure and detail in the grain.
