Modern Walnut Bench With Original Trestle Base
This is a modern walnut bench with removable base trestles that bolt to the top with mechanical fasteners. It was made for a client in Idaho to help define their living room seating area, and ultimately had a custom cushion built for it. The top is a veneered walnut top with solid banding, and the bases are solid walnut. This was the first piece I made with this base design. I have since made several others, including the maple Dining Table and bench in my portfolio.
