Walnut Bookcase, Modern And Modular

This is a modern, freestanding bookcase I designed for a specific wall in a client's home. This particular one is 100" wide, by 90"tall, and 16" deep, but it could be made in any size (or wood choice) to fit any wall space. The shelves are 1 1/2" walnut veneer plywood with solid walnut nosing, while the vertical dividers are solid walnut. The dividers have threaded brass inserts in them to receive 1/4-20 bronze colored fasteners, making the whole unit easy to assemble and ship flat in pieces. It assembles quickly and is very solid and elegant.
