Fine Art - Verre Eglomise & Antiqued Mirror - Copper Fish
Framed artwork for the wall. The 18th century technique of combining genuine 23.5 gold leaf with a glass surface is called Verre Eglomisé. As a master gilder, I use genuine gold, silver and copper leaf on the back side of glass. Hand silvered mirror surfaces are poured and then antiqued and distressed through a proprietary 12 step process in our studio. Designs were customized with contemporary, traditional, transitional and old world motifs. Artwork is matted and framed, ready to hang.
