This is the perfect nutcracker! Nuts are individually loaded in the brass mechanism, and with a turn of the screw are cleanly cracked. The shells usually fall cleanly into the dish (and not all over the room!) Even the hardest nuts split with ease. This bowl is lathe-turned of native Maple with a Brazilian Cherry handle, 9 inches in diameter and 7 inches high. The nut bowls are typically finished with Polycryl. Each bowl is signed and dated and the wood(s) used are identified. You can chose yours from a selection of available woods.
