For Crossed-Leg Trestle Style Farmhouse TableWe are in love with our new table. It is gorgeous!
We are hosting Thanksgiving and had a tight timeline that the maker was able to meet with weeks to spare. In addition, he answered every single one of my questions about what type of extension to include, how large it should be, and even sent multiple photos so I would know what different color stains look like,
Great experience - would use again and definitely recommend!

For Sarah's Dining TableI needed an odd shaped kitchen table that i commissioned Jason to build. Jason was easy to work with, communicated promptly and the quality of the table that he built for me is top notch. I would definitely use him again.

For Ryan's Coffee TableJason first contacted us when we were looking for a coffee table. We chose Jason over several other builders because we were so impressed by the thorough initial communication, where he gave us expert advice, recommendations, and truly gave us the feeling that we could work together on this project.
After messaging back and forth, seeing our new apartment space, and exchanging ideas, my wife and I decided that we wanted to add a couple pieces in addition to the coffee table. No problem, Jason said. We imagined and drew up a wine rack, media console, and side table - all custom made to match the coffee table. The sketches and ideas we sent to Jason were rough at best, and we were taking ideas from several different elements ("we like the pipes on this piece, but the reclaimed wood from this picture, and then the stain from this magazine article"…etc.). Jason had more than a handful to deal with from us, but he was able to address and take care of every request and concern we had! Jason's stellar communication, we thought, was the reason we chose him…
Until we received all 4 pieces of furniture 6 weeks later. We were absolutely blown away. Jason personally delivered the furniture to us, and as we moved it in, he described the detail in it. The stain on all the pieces matched equally, to my wife's delight. She was so concerned the stain would not turn out how she had envisioned, but Jason had done even better - our furniture is a rich oak stain, dark espresso with orange hues coming through, and black checks drawing your gaze. The media console doors were constructed with the hinges at a 45-degree angle, a tough find he said - the panels of the doors he had blowtorched to give the reclaimed wood a darker, charred color. The side and coffee tables were a industrial, but polished feel - exactly what we had imagined. The bases of reclaimed wood ask to be felt and admired.
And then, Jason unveiled the wine rack. Undoubtedly the piece I was most excited about. We had sent several drawings to Jason on this piece, requesting industrial piping, hanging wine rack from the top shelf, light sockets for rustic edison bulbs behind the rack (complete with dimmer switch), and space for a wine fridge. Jason, as with all our other furniture, drew the pieces up to our specs, and then sent us pictures of the wood he would use a few days later. It turned out better than what we had even imagined. I wish we could attach pictures to this review, because this piece truly represents the talented craftsman we now see in Jason. We get complimented on it every time we have anyone over. This wine rack is a piece that would easily cost $6000+ at Williams-Sonoma, and to be honest, a true work of art we will never willingly part with.
We had second thoughts about contracting someone to hand-make our furniture, long gone now that we met Jason. I would almost venture to say that I never want to buy furniture from a store again, if I can help it; this experience was flat-out incredible and well-worth the money.
Jason's furniture will always have a place in our home. The hard work, passion, and love this man puts into his work is in the wood imbibed. To have those values apparent in our furniture… is priceless. Thank you Jason, we'll be in touch in the future!
