Kitchen Chopping Block With Pot Hooks
This piece is the perfect center piece to your kitchen. It can function as a chopping block with its non toxic butcher block finish or a functional kitchen island with cookware storage. The piece measure 39 inches tall by 33 inches long by 22 inches deep. The top is made of a solid 2 inch thick piece of red elm. There are 24 pegs for hanging pots, pans, or whatever else you can imagine from the underside of the piece. The legs are attached with deep mortise and tenon joinery and held in place with stout 3/8 inch pegs. This makes the piece extremely sturdy.
