This is a two seater kitchen island. The top is made of hard maple and walnut with a butcher block finish food grade ready for use. The base is made of walnut with hard maple slats. The shelves are 20" by 20" and the top is 45" by 22.5" and the piece is 36" tall. There is space under each end for seating and a 20" by 4 " drawer. The piece is made using traditional mortise and tennon joinery with no screw fasteners.

We are in love with our new table. It is gorgeous! We are hosting Thanksgiving and had a tight timeline that the maker was able to meet with weeks to spare. In addition, he answered every single one of my questions about what type of extension to include, how large it should be, and even sent multiple photos so I would know what different color stains look like, Great experience - would use again and definitely recommend!
