I have always loved the aesthetic of melding the old with the new. I enjoy the contrast of aged and weathered materials with the freshly fabricated and sharp lines of sculpted metal. The wood used in the Parson's table is from reclaimed fences that have enjoyed the rising and setting of the Ellensburg, WA sun for decades. It has character, tells a story, and has a patina that a fresh plank cannot boast. The metal legs, now those are my creation! I craft each leg by hand using old school sheet metal fabrication methods. What results is a hollow but extremely sturdy table leg with compound curves. Some ask, "Now, how'd you do that?" The Parson's Fence Rail table is one of a kind and I guarantee you that you probably won't ever see one in the flesh unless you buy one for yourself. Besides, I only have so many fence rails!

The Fence Rail Parsons Table by artisan Jerry Sandeno uniquely integrates the beauty and sophistication of Queen Anne legs in handcrafted metal sculpture with the timeless appeal of reclaimed wood to create a western table that will never be mass-produced and no two tables will ever be exactly alike.
Contemporary design need not abandon the past. This one-of-a-kind table combines the sensuality of sculpted steel with the rugged good looks of distressed wood that’s seen decades of exposure to sun, wind, cattle and hard work. Never perfect and never duplicated, this table speaks of history. It’s weathered, elegant and equally suited for a discriminating home, a mountain lodge, a metropolitan loft or executive office suite.
