Crease Floating Shelf
The Crease is a beautifully simple design by an Eidolon sculptor. Clean lines create an elegant showcase for any small, special display. The Crease is offered in a hand finished pickled and oiled steel for an age-old look as well as stainless steel with a soft hand-brushed finish. Either steel selection can stand-alone as a complete piece mounted simply with 2 stainless screws. Additionally, several surfaces can be placed on the steel ledge as an additional design element. The shelf is also available without a surface. Wood selections are all clear finished with non-toxic high performance water born urethane, showcasing the natural color and grain of each species. Eidolon Designs
Eidolon Designs is a team of craftsmen and designers lead by husband-and-wife Mike Parker and Ann Cowperthwaite. We specialize in custom designed high-quality furniture, special architectural projects, and millwork for clients who value the personal over the manufactured. Handmade in our downtown Raleigh studio since 1996.
Mike uses his creative engineering and fabrication expertise to assure structural integrity, Ann her thoughtful visual articulation to assure beautiful presentation, and our craftsman their skill to create products designed to last a lifetime.
This is our way: just a few artisans with a passion for our craft. Creating by hand takes a measurable part of our lives and we like it this way. The integrity of our process will always take precedence over expediency.
