Barnwood Console Table

$500

Barnwood Console or Sofa Table made from reclaimed Maine barnwood. The wood is King Pine and came from a dismantled barn in Maine. The finish is a semi-gloss polyurethane and the legs are black gas pipes that thread together. This customer also asked that I attach a small wine rack underneath the table. In the last picture you can still see the marks from the saw (curved black lines) when they originally milled the wood.

I create custom tables made from re-claimed wood, a lot of the wood is reclaimed barnwood that comes from Maine. The wood is original barnwood that has come from dismantled barns. I can create any sort of dining room table, coffee table, end tables, headboard etc. I will work with you to get the exact measurements you need for your table. You can choose the shape, size and finish on your table.

I also have access to and have worked with reclaimed wood from gym floors and reclaimed wood from bowling alleys, they make very nice coffee and dining room tables.

I work with recycled lumber, which needs to be conditioned for furniture use. Each piece of lumber is unique and has its own set of characteristics. My furniture is crafted by hand, so some variations in size and finish are to be expected. Please note that knots, cracks, chips, markings, small gaps between planks and imperfections within the piece are part of the charm of purchasing furniture made with recycled materials and are to be expected. By their nature, the kind of lumber we use may be somewhat uneven, and may bow slightly over time. The planks will adjust themselves to their new environment (your home's temperature, dryness vs. humidity, etc.) accordingly. The adjustment to the new environment may sometimes mean a small change in dimensions which may present itself as a gap between the planks or small cracks.
