This bench was custom made to match an existing teak table. A solid piece of teak was used for the top which is known for it's durability, elegance, stability and low maintenance. The sides were mitered to hide the leg attachments and create the illusion that it was a 1" solid piece. Metal legs were chosen to compliment it's modern design sense. About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.
About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.

From his first proposal he had sketches and ideas and had already investigated possible materials so I had options to choose from. He is very responsive to input and I felt like he really took the time to understand my style and vision even though it may not have been his preference (love modern). So the end result was exactly what I wanted for both projects! He is a great communicator and very trustworthy and on time. Mar 30, 2015Ron created a gorgeous custom banquette dining table out of reclaimed wood for us. Communication with him was smooth and easy. He was always swift to respond and made beautiful colored renderings for us to review before starting the actual building process. This made it so much easier for us to visualize and talk about what we liked and didn’t like. We were very particular about the type of reclaimed wood we were searching for and he helped us find the perfect wood. We actually met at a seller of reclaimed wood that he recommended and were able to meet in person and look at the wood together. His seller was also cheaper than the source of reclaimed wood we were thinking of using originally. During the actual building process he kept us up to date on how he was coming along and even sent photos, which was nice. He was a joy to work with and helped us realize the vision we had for the space. His craftsmanship and sense of artistry are superb.
