Floating shelves are a simple elegant design choice for a clean modern look. A reclaimed rustic pine shell hides the internal supports, creating the illusion of a solid piece of wood without the traditional support brackets. They are available in custom sizes for flexible use in any part of the house from a living room mantle to a wine glass holder in the kitchen. The sizes shown here: longest 108"L x 6"W x 3"H 2 shorter 72"L x 6"W x 3"H Mantle 72"L x 4"D x 4"H The installation of these shelves is fairly simple. (see attached for details) The hidden support pieces are attached to the wall studs and an outer sleeve is then placed over them. Some basic carpentry skills and a few simple tools are needed for self-installation. All shelves are individually made to your exact specifications. They are priced by size length, width and depth. Maximum width is 12" unless supported on one or both sides. 104" length is the maximum shipping length. For extended lengths 2 can be pieced together. Minimum thickness for each shelf is 3". All hardware and installation instructions are included. Prices for sizes shown here: longest 108"L x 6"W x 3"H $400 2 shorter 72"L x 6"W x 3"H $300/per. Mantle 72"L x 4"D x 4"H $350. About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.
About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.
About You
If you share my love for objects from the past, have specific custom needs, along with an appreciation for unique handcrafted objects let me help you bring something special into your home.

For Reclaimed Lumber Floating ShelvesCouldn't be happier with the finished product. Exactly what we had been looking for, for the past few years. Great communication, easy installation, and top notch quality. If these shelves sell with our house, we'll order more from him for our next house. I've got pictures, but don't see the option to upload them here. I'll post pictures on Instagram, search for username tango_down15 and I'll accept your request so you can see the pictures.

For Rustic Floating ShelvesThis was my first time using Custom Made and I was a little Leary at first. Ron was great to work with. He communicated clearly throughout project and was prompt with answering my questions. The shelves are absolutely beautiful! I am waiting for construction to begin on my kitchen to see them installed and will be forwarding a picture of them hanging. Thank you Ron!!
