Reclaimed Industrial Oak Table With Benches

The inspiration for this project came from 3 authentic industrial Singer sewing machine legs. Inherited from the clients' grandfather, they finally found the perfect home as a base for their dining table. This solid base was needed to support the top made from rustic weathered grey oak. The finished size was 45" x 108" x 3" with two 18" additional leaf extensions. With the extensions it becomes a massive 12' table large enough to handle any family event. A handy storage compartment was added below the top to hold the leaves and allow for easy access. Two matching benches were added to provide plenty of seating. Pieces can be made separately. Oak bench with back $1000. Oak bench no back $800 Table w/extensions $3500 Whole set as shown $4500 FEATURES • Reclaimed old-growth rustic oak and pine barn wood • Legs are authentic industrial factory Singer sewing machines • Metal pipes/nuts & bolts hold base together • Natural grey finish also available in natural brown • Finished with highest quality polyurethane Restrictions- Oak version for local customers only. Maximum width 40". Legs are special order style will vary based on availability.

About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.

About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.

About You
If you share my love for objects from the past, have specific custom needs, along with an appreciation for unique handcrafted objects let me help you bring something special into your home.

For Transforming table (coffee into dining)
    4.8

Ron made a "transforming table" for me. With limited space in my Chicago condo, I needed a coffee table that turns into a dining table. I had sent about 4 different ideas before deciding on a final design (over the course of a couple months). He was very patient and open to my ideas, challenging as they may be.

Once decided on the design, Ron was very professional and had kept open communication on the progress, providing photos over the course. It took a bit longer to finish than what was originally proposed, but that was fine with me as I prefer to have a perfect product rather than a rushed product. The table is what I had imagined it to be. I'm already getting compliments from my friends.

I'd definitely work with Ron again, and would highly recommend. I'm a very happy customer here!
