Live Edge Oak With Rustic Front Facing Kitchen Cabinets
Our 25 year old kitchen cabinets were in desperate need of rehab or a dumpster. The 80's peach colored tile top was replaced with live edged white oak. A cheap plastic lazy Susan was upgraded to a custom-made hardwood version. Front facings, along with both drawers and pull out shelves were all replaced with rustic oak and pine. Final results moved the other kitchen cabinet replacements closer to the top of the to-do list. About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.
About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.
