Rustic Kitchen Island/Spice Cabinet

$2,000

Another piece is completed in the kitchen rehab project. This round eliminated a pitiful excuse for our counter/ spice cabinet. Gladly replaced it with this rustic live edge oak top and reclaimed oak base cabinet. It has a pullout cutting board with a single drawer and storage space below. There is plenty of space above to hold spices and other cooking items. Size as shown – base 24"W x 21"D x 36"H. Spice cabinet 24"W x 48"T x 6"D. Overall height 84" FEATURES • Reclaimed old-growth rustic oak and pine barn wood • Finished with highest quality polyurethane • Soft-close door and drawer hardware • Handmade to order • Some assembly/installation required

About Me
Twenty-five years ago we instantly fell in love with a 100-year-old farmhouse. We reveled in its unique architecture, old world craftsmanship and a chance to preserve history. All through the years since then it became the ultimate outlet to perfect both my artistic and carpentry skills.

About My Business
My disdain for mass-produced furnishings lead me to the creation of many unique custom-made pieces. By combining a passion for historical materials with modern design, I was able to preserve a bit of the past into the future. Old barn wood was transformed into tables, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets and anything else I could apply my artistry to. Broken Mexican tile was fashioned into beautiful mosaic inlays. Collected stones, shells and driftwood were melded with old growth wood to recreate natural beauty.

About You
If you share my love for objects from the past, have specific custom needs, along with an appreciation for unique handcrafted objects let me help you bring something special into your home.

For Transforming table (coffee into dining)
    4.8

Ron made a "transforming table" for me. With limited space in my Chicago condo, I needed a coffee table that turns into a dining table. I had sent about 4 different ideas before deciding on a final design (over the course of a couple months). He was very patient and open to my ideas, challenging as they may be.

Once decided on the design, Ron was very professional and had kept open communication on the progress, providing photos over the course. It took a bit longer to finish than what was originally proposed, but that was fine with me as I prefer to have a perfect product rather than a rushed product. The table is what I had imagined it to be. I'm already getting compliments from my friends.

I'd definitely work with Ron again, and would highly recommend. I'm a very happy customer here!

We were hesitant to get shelves made from someone out of state. It seemed odd that we wouldn't find someone local but this worked out perfectly. Without having to run around town all weekend finding reclaimed wood for a shelf pantry project, I found Ron here and couldn't be happier. He was prompt in communication, knew exactly what would work, and delivered as promised. He was way easier to work with than some local contractors and we haven even met in person! I totally loved the floating shelves he made us for our little pantry. They had a rusticity to our 2003 townhome. I would love it if Ron could work on my whole house!
