Bijou Baubles Bijou Baubles are inspired by Scandinavian designs and may be purchased with two alluring gems per earring: a 6mm and 10mm gem, or with one 10mm or 12mm gem per earring. The translucent gems that are exhibited on this site: Almandine Garnet, Amethyst, Blue Topaz, Chalcedony, Citrine and Peridot are readily available. The price/carat for 10mm to 12mm Peridot, Blue Topaz, and Citrine continues to rise due to availability and popularity. All of my work is hand fabricated using sterling silver sheet and wire. Cabochons are pneumatically set by hand. I love the concentrated color exhibited in cabochon gems. Prices of commodities and precious gems fluctuate daily.
