Custom Stained Glass In French Doors
This custom stained glass commission is mounted in a pair of residential office doors. The contemporary style is enhanced by the use of lead came in different sizes. The clear textured glasses used in the outer part of the design are more private and the clear textured glasses used in the inner portion are less private, as per the clients' request. These panels are constructed with lead came and zinc came. The use of zinc around the outer edges and in many of the interior lines allows these panels to be quite strong without having to use steel reinforcement bars, which would spoil the design.

I have been making stained glass for 50 years, since I took it up as a hobby at the age of eleven. I have been a full-time stained glass artist since 1975. I've won numerous awards for both my design and my craftsmanship.
