This floral stained glass artowrk is currently for sale. This artwork employs both construction methods, lead came (the border) and copper foil (the flowers). This was hard to do because the flowers overlap the border in one place. The background a seedy clear glass. That means it has tiny air bubbles in it. All metallic parts have been darkened to a charcoal gray with a chemical patina. This hanging artwork if mounted in a walnut frame, which looks black in this photo but is actually a walnut-brown color. The size of this artwork is 18" wide and 30-1/2" high, including the wood frame.

I have been making stained glass for 50 years, since I took it up as a hobby at the age of eleven. I have been a full-time stained glass artist since 1975. I've won numerous awards for both my design and my craftsmanship.
I have completed commissions throughout the U.S. and Canada, and shipped my ready-made artworks as far as Dublin, Ireland. I also teach my unique methodology for making precision stained glass in a 43-hour set of DVDs, and I have sold hundreds of these sets in 15 countries so far.
As a visual artist, I invite you to view my images and compare the design and craftsmanship for yourself. Whether you are considering the purchase of an already-made stained glass artwork or commissioning new custom stained or beveled glass, I am confident that I can address both your desires and needs.
