I made a wooden ball and socket joint that is right below the mahogany seat of this stool. I filled the ball and socket joint with graphite as a dry lubricant so that the sitting on the stool is similar to sitting on a yoga ball. This is intended to be another fun piece to display in your office of living room.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Towson University with a concentration in Sculpture. My work while in school was a fusion of fine art and furniture, often creating concept based furniture.
Since graduating from Towson I have been working for a historic home restoration company in Baltimore city and trying to expand my own business of custom furniture and counter tops at night and on the weekends.
My work is very minimal in design. I like to use sharp clean lines and contrasting woods to create interest. I try to use traditional joinery to create pieces that will stand the test of time.
