This piece was the last thing I made while still at Towson University. It is made of solid mahogany with aluminum rods going through to make the pieces of mahogany into wooden hinges which is what allows the table to fold up into a partition. The partitions have pieces of aluminum in them that slide up so you can pass the salt and pepper shakers through.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Towson University with a concentration in Sculpture. My work while in school was a fusion of fine art and furniture, often creating concept based furniture.
Since graduating from Towson I have been working for a historic home restoration company in Baltimore city and trying to expand my own business of custom furniture and counter tops at night and on the weekends.
My work is very minimal in design. I like to use sharp clean lines and contrasting woods to create interest. I try to use traditional joinery to create pieces that will stand the test of time.
