Unique Wood Sculpted Items

Born in Duluth, Minnesota and raised in Holliston and Cape Cod, Massachusetts, I was inspired by my grandfather at the age of eight as we built birdhouses on the back porch.

I was in the first graduating class of Cape Cod Vocational School and planned to enroll in the carpentry program. As the saying goes "the best laid plans of mice and men…" The program was filled to capacity so I enrolled in boat building for two years. It was there that I found a love for wood bending and taking it to a different form.

One day I saw an older man building a staircase and at that moment I knew what I wanted to do. For 25 years I have created unique and innovative staircases and furniture throughout New England.

In 2011, I left New England for a warmer climate in Florida. I am currently the head craftsman in Wood Works which is a division of Jones + Jones, Inc., a general contracting firm that specializes in high-end custom homes in Vero Beach, Florida. Wood Works creates custom millwork from stairs to cabinetry and fine furniture pieces.
