Custom Made For Ashley C. Watercolor Painting With Quote By Hand Lettering
This watercolor painting with hand written quote was created for A. C. as a birthday gift for her father by Borsos Anna Ruzsan (BAR-ART STUDIO) Her original request: "Looking for a print, painting or drawing of a quote with the image of the old man in the mountains in the background." I loved the idea to create this project, because it is combining my two favorite things, painting and hand lettering. The pictures are showing the whole process, as I was updating my client for approvals. Text proof, color study, painting and text background and the final image. Overall size is 14"x11", image size 10"x8". Materials used: 140lb Arches Watercolor Paper and the best quality watercolor pigments from Winsor & Newton, Speedball Super Black India Ink, calligraphy pen. Creating and painting is a lonely process, but I love how it frees my imagination and provides time to relive the past and plan the future.
