Sample project made by Borsos Anna Ruzsan (BAR-ART STUDIO) Karen and Doug originally was looking for a Canadian maker, but I assured them it's affordable and possible to safely ship to Canada from the US. They wanted to create an "Anniversary/Wedding board - Subway Art / Typography Word Art". They sent me all the words and numbers they wanted to include. Every single step from the planning to completion we've consulted with each other, background color, fonts, letter types, colors of the letters, layout… On the right you can see a few steps how this Subway Art / Typography Word Art was created. Size: 36"x24" Materials: Stretched canvas Gesso, Acrylic paints Calligraphy and traditional brushes So far it was the biggest project I was able to combine my love of painting and hand lettering. Thinking beige with black and red writing and 36x24 in a landscape layout Here are some details on the project from the maker: Hand made, hand painted, typography "subway art" on a 20"x36" landscape oriented stretched canvas with acrylic paint. The words and numbers and other design elements were provided by Karen. Please check your spelling carefully, I will use the spelling that you gave me. After receiving the deposit I will send you proofs for each color painted on canvas, so you will be able to see the details of the letters and texture. Please note that color may vary slightly from your monitor. Every time a I do a commission work, I send pictures of the progress and we discuss with the buyer what's the next step, and how they like the artwork at that point and I can always make changes if needed. The shipping will be by USPS and it is US $55.-, customs (if any, are not included). This is my show season, so I put down 4 weeks to complete the project, but I hope it will be ready faster.
