Media center styled after an art easle. This is a hand made with traditional hand tools media center. Towering at 8 feet tall and 3 feet wide it has a narrow depth of only 32 inches! Made from solid curly maple also known as tiger maple. With the adjustable shelf and top stay it will accommodate any flat screen thin profile TV from a small 27 inch up to a whopping 96 inch! Construction consists of wedged mortise and tenons, draw bored tenons, and dovetails. Allowing it to handle weights up to 300lbs. The finish is a high gloss polished polyurethane which makes the curl or tiger strips in the maple really stand out! Hello,
My name is John Kunstman, I build custom heirloom furniture and other wooden pieces. I am a full time firefighter / paramedic for my day job, and build custom furniture as a hobby. This allows me to spend extra attention to details that make the piece perfect.
In my shop hand tools are used to build my furniture pieces. Yes, i do have electricity, how ever its main use is for lights and a radio. And an occasional saw or other tool.
I bring 30 plus years of experience, which started working with my father since i was old enough to get in the way.
