Dieselpunk Sputnik Chandelier Or Pendant Ceiling Fixture

$375

Hi, thank you for taking a look. I made this unique Light from re-purposed and reclaimed vintage objects. The time period of the parts are mid-century. The hub cap came from a 1946 Chevrolet StyleMaster. The shades are made from vintage oilers of the same time period. My inspiration for this design came from "Sputnik 1" which was the first artificial Earth satellite. I'm able to make this design in various sizes per your specific needs. It's a great conversation piece and would be at home in a living room, over a bar, or restaurant. No two are alike and will have different characteristics and charm The size as shown starts at $375

"Reclaimed & Upcycled Lighting."

Reborn Concepts allows me to design lighting that is both unique and functional. It also allows me to combine my passion for both sculpture and industrial relics from our past.

With my work I try to inspire creative reuse and re-purposing. I totally enjoy the challenge of incorporating vintage and reclaimed objects into my designs.

metal is usually my main medium. But I also love the look of reclaimed wood. It adds a soft touch and and a nice change of texture and mood.

My educational background is always growing and evolving. My passion for art started from a very young age and I eventually attended a prestigious magnet high school for Art and architecture. For college, I decided to try something new and went for a degree in business. I'm currently back in school for industrial technology and design. I find working metal on the old milling and lathe machines amazing. I'm now starting to move into modern fabrication using CNC and CAD.
