Pine Lincsonic Electric Guitar

$500+

After spending the 70's and 80's recording such talents as Stevie Ray Vaughn and Whitney Houston I decided to combine my passion for music with a love of woodworking. The result is the LincSonic handmade guitar; a unique look with a great sound. This custom guitar features a northern white pine body, a maple neck, GFS single-coil pickups, a five-position switch, and a satin lacquer finish over a yellow analine dye. This guitar has the classic LincSonic shape which has become my signature body style. Each guitar that I build is a whim of the moment and so is one of a kind. On this guitar the pine body provides the warmth and sustain of a good tone wood. The single-coil pickups provide that glassy, vintage punch. The neck is a 'c' shape, half-way between thin and thick. It's not at all clunky but it does fill your hand. The guitar has chrome Wilkinson mini-Grover-style tuners and a chrome hard-tail bridge. The five-position switch, single volume knob, double tone knobs, and three single-coil pickups are similar to a strat-style setup.

About Me:
After spending a decade in NYC as an audio engineer recording such talents as Stevie Ray Vaughn and Whitney Houston I decided to pursue a life-long love of woodworking by moving to Maine and building traditional furniture. My love of music evolved into offering a line of electric guitars called 'LincSonic'. I am currently the senior furniture builder for Windsorchair as well as an independent, custom electric guitar designer and builder.

About My Work:

I have been woodworking for about forty years. My work reflects my appreciation of traditional furniture design; from Queen Anne to Arts and Crafts to Shaker. One of my drop-front desks was featured on the cover of Fine Woodworking, (December 1992, #97). Over the years I have built over 3000 pieces of furniture.
My LincSonic guitars reflect my love of music and my satisfaction in designing and building a fine musical instrument.
