Metal Table Base - Pedestal Style (Trestle)
Listed here is our made-to-order "Trestle" pedestal base. This base is perfect for wood, stone or glass tops and can be configured to any size required. If you're looking for a design that fits many different styles, this base is perfect. Construction: - 2" x 4" tubing used for the top, bottom and angled portion - 4" x 4" tubing used for the middle post - 1/4" x 1" straps used for mounting to a wood top Notes: - for glass tops we would do away with the strap and would keep the top flat, allowing for clear tabs to be installed for grip and a clean look. - for stone tops, 2 sided sticky squares would be used in order to keep the stone from sliding around. - for a 72" top, we would use larger materials in order to compliment the size. Finishes: We offer all sorts of designer finishes. Pricing is based on the cost of material and the tiers of difficulty in the process. Some finishes are much more labor intense than others. Shipping Options: Freight: With this option, it'll arrive on a pallet, at the bottom of your driveway or curbside. You'll be responsible for getting it off the pallet and into your home or business. White Glove: With this service, they will call you to schedule delivery. They'll bring it in to your room of choice and will discard of all packaging. Urban Ironcraft is a niche manufacturer of decorative metal products and furniture. Aside from manufacturing our own product lines, we offer custom fully custom metal furniture. Keep in mind that even though we specialize in metal, we collaborate with local woodworkers and stone fabricators on a regular basis.
About Justin
I've been custom building iron furniture and accessories for over 20 years. My experience ranges from owning a high-end designer home furnishings store, where we offered one of a kind furniture, both purchased and custom built, to now, where we manufacture our own products. We sell through kitchen and bath designers, interior designers, home builders, millwork providers and architects nation-wide. As you get to know me, you'll notice that I'm passionate about the pieces we create. I'm constantly searching for things that will inspire me to create products that are new to the market. And, aside from design, I love having the opportunity to work with people that are open minded and unique.

Nov 11, 2018I am so sorry to be so late with this review! Our nightstands are amazing and our experience with Urban Ironcraft was exceptional. The two matching wrought iron nightstands have thin, roughly antiqued gold box frames with a top, mid-shelf, and bottom shelf. We had the top shelf fitted with clear glass, and the two lower shelves fitted with milk glass. They are stunning. Urban Ironcraft was wonderful to work with, and so PATIENT! Thank you, Urban Ironcraft, and we greatly apologize for being SO late with this review while we kept moving within California and have now relocated to SC. (Our nightstands have traveled beautifully, by the way...)

Dec 6, 2016I highly recommend this company. The work was excellent and when it was damaged in transit they handled everything including scheduling UPS to pick it up so that it would be repaired. It was repaired and returned to me in a timely manner. You know you have a good company when something goes wrong and they make it right with no hassles.

The piece is quite heavy, but it arrived extremely well wrapped and in perfect condition. Justin is easy to work with. He responded immediately to my emails. I recommend his work highly.
