Metal Fireplace Screen (Macy)
Listed here is a custom made-to-order fireplace screen we call "Macy". Mesh can be added if you have real logs. Since we build these custom, email us your fireplace opening dimensions and desired finish. Notes: -This fireplace screen is custom made to order, please shoot us a message as to what your size and finish requirements are. We would also love to see a picture of your fireplace, that will help us to help you decide what's best for your application. - If you have real logs, you will need mesh backing, which is an option. - Once the opening on your fireplace reaches a certain size, we recommend doors due to the weight. A free-standing screen with mesh gets to be heavy once you get to a certain sq. footage. - When measuring for the right size of fireplace screen, we recommend making the screen 1" taller and wider all the way around. Material used: - the frame is made out of 1" tubing - outside portion of the frame is 1/4" x 2" strap, which adds a heavier, higher-end look to the screen - there's a 3/8" round rod between the 1" tubing and the 2" strap, which just adds some character - the legs are 1" solid material and are ground to a round end so that there aren't sharp edges Finishes: (Shown in Steel Gray) We offer all sorts of designer finishes. Pricing is based on the cost of material and the tiers of difficulty in the process. Some finishes are much more labor intense than others. Shipping Options: Freight: With this option, it'll arrive on a pallet, at the bottom of your driveway or curbside. You'll be responsible for getting it off the pallet and into your home or business. White Glove: With this service, they will call you to schedule delivery. They'll bring it in to your room of choice and will discard of all packaging. Urban Ironcraft is a niche manufacturer of decorative metal products and furniture. Aside from manufacturing our own product lines, we offer custom fully custom metal furniture. Keep in mind that even though we specialize in metal, we collaborate with local woodworkers and stone fabricators on a regular basis.

I've been custom building iron furniture and accessories for over 20 years. My experience ranges from owning a high-end designer home furnishings store, where we offered one of a kind furniture, both purchased and custom built, to now, where we manufacture our own products. We sell through kitchen and bath designers, interior designers, home builders, millwork providers and architects nation-wide. As you get to know me, you'll notice that I'm passionate about the pieces we create. I'm constantly searching for things that will inspire me to create products that are new to the market. And, aside from design, I love having the opportunity to work with people that are open minded and unique.
