Custom Beer Tap Handle
Here is a custom made beer tap handle made for a client's benefit in San Francisco. It is a replica of The Golden Fire Hydrant from the Mission District which is famous for saving the Mission District during the 1906 Earthquake. This was an amazing project to make and I look forward to turning your ideas a tap handle for your home, bar, brewery or restaurant.

I am a woodworker who specializes in custom walking sticks and canes with a focus on traditional English and Irish style walking sticks, many times with my own added twist.
With each item I aim to incorporate the uniqueness of the wood I am using and capture that beauty in the finish product. My walking sticks and canes are made to provide support for rugged hiking, stability in walking or for the collector. I make a variety of other wood products including jewelry and keepsake boxes, tobacco pipes, props and "magic wands".

Oct 28, 2015I just received the second cane Rafe did for me and, as much as I love the first one he did, I think I'm going to like this one even better. He listened to my request for a pistol grip that would fit my palm and fingers better so it should be more comfortable for longer stretches of use. Like the first one, this one is a thing of beauty. I highly recommend Rafe Demers for the quality and aesthetics of his work, as well as for his good, prompt communication.
