Original Graphite Drawing

I had a #2 pencil and a spiral notebook or piece of scrap paper in my hands from the moment I could first hold them. My love for drawing and creating grew exponentially from that moment on. I took every art class that I possibly could in high school and my art teacher even gave up her prep period to guide me in an independent study course. I went to a small college after high school that offered a minor in art and again, I took more than the required number of credits to complete the degree. I am currently certified to teach art K-12 in MT but due to family obligations, I am stepping out of the school setting and will be at home full time and able to create almost to my heart's content.

Over the past few years, I have been refining and perfecting my pencil drawing skills while exploring new media and creative ideas. My areas of expertise are Graphite drawing, stained glass, stained glass mosaics and glass etching. I have ventured into creating functional steam punk objects, candle making and and the use of found objects in art or functional art. I simply can't drive by a pile of junk/material without my mind try to imagine the things I could create using the parts and pieces in the pile.

I truly love to create and if something interests me that I do not know how to complete, I will learn how to create the project to the best of my ability and with my own flair.
